Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Claim Your Court ("CYC," "the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Account Responsibilities

You must provide accurate information when creating your account. Each person may maintain only one account. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.

3. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
• Create fake RSVPs or intentionally disrupt session coordination
• Impersonate other players, facilities, or administrators
• Use the Service for any purpose other than recreational sports coordination

4. Content Moderation

Claim Your Court is not a free speech platform. All user-generated content — including posts, messages, session descriptions, and profile information — may be removed by administrators at any time, for any reason deemed appropriate, without prior notice.

Hate speech, discriminatory language, political commentary, and any content unrelated to recreational sports coordination are not protected content on this platform. Administrators have sole discretion over what content is permitted. Repeated violations may result in account suspension or termination.

5. Court Availability Disclaimer

Joining or RSVPing to a session does not guarantee court availability. CYC aggregates publicly available schedule information from recreation departments and facilities but does not operate, manage, or reserve courts on your behalf. You are responsible for confirming availability directly with the facility before attending.

6. Data Accuracy

Session times, facility hours, court information, and other data displayed on CYC are sourced from publicly available recreation department schedules and user contributions. This information may be outdated, incomplete, or incorrect. CYC is not liable for inaccuracies in facility or schedule data.

7. Stats & Leaderboards

Game statistics and leaderboard rankings are based on self-reported and community-entered data. They are not official records and should not be treated as authoritative.

8. Content Ownership

You retain ownership of content you create on CYC. By posting content, you grant CYC a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and use that content in connection with operating the Service.

9. Account Termination

CYC reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms, at any time and without prior notice. You may delete your own account at any time by contacting claimyourcourt@gmail.com.

10. Limitation of Liability

CYC is a coordination tool for recreational sports. CYC is not liable for any injuries, property damage, disputes between users, or any other damages arising from the use of the Service or participation in activities coordinated through it. You participate in all activities at your own risk.

11. Changes to These Terms

CYC may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or via email. Continued use of CYC after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
